Hi, Hollis. I spent some time moving through your interview again today, finally putting things together into a "final??" unit. This writing thing is tough!! Still, it's coming along fine. Anyway, seeing your face, hearing your voice, listening to your words - add it all up, and I gravitated over to your site to settle in for some reading, to catch up. I love the Mark Twain piece. I don't know if anyone's ever told you this, but, you kind of remind me of him. I mean, obviously, I didn't know him. But, you remind me of what I imagine him to have been like.

It's funny, there is this statue around the corner from where I live - it's Winston Churchill sitting with his wife. I've always wanted to stop and say hi to them, chat for awhile. To do so, however, I'm pretty sure I'll have to sit on Mrs. Churchill's lap. I hope Winston doesn't mind (or Mrs. Churchill, for that matter).

I hope you, Alice and the family are all doing great.

By the way, your favorite niece is very lucky to have such an extraordinary uncle.

Harry

A fine tale, Hollis. I have a feeling Mr. Clemens would do good to listen to some of your own home-spun wisdom!

Did this really happen? I hope Mr. Clemens made it home safely. That was surely a meeting of almost epic proportions.
